Fall Events & What is NEW!

The past few months have been a whirlwind here. We are officially a family of FOUR (our adoption is complete!) and I took a few months to let that sink in. Even though the shop stayed open, I put a halt to new designs and Jane.com deals... until now!

I have been working hard on new designs for tees, pendants, and even exploring some new avenues for my designs so stay tuned for that. :D I'm excited!

I also attended Scarlet Threads with my necklaces and it was an amazing event I plan to partake in again next year! Here is what is coming up next for me:

August 22-23: The Mom Made Market

September 12: Penelope Lane Boutique

September 17-20: Moo La La Boutique 

October 17: Crafty & Chic Boutique

I have most of my winter events booked as well, but mark these on your calendar... you don't want to miss!

New designs are up on the site and you can expect some new pictures coming through as I will be working with a photographer in TWO days to capture some awesome shots of tees and necklaces. Fall season... here we go!

New Designs & Spring Events

I have been a busy little bee preparing for my upcoming events!  Not only will I be adding new designs to the shop throughout this next week, but I also have a new shape in the shop (rectangular pendant) AND I have added charms.  You can purchase charms in the ADD ON section.  I am working on building the supply of charms so if you have a suggestion on a charm feel free to send it in to shopellieandjames@gmail.com, comment here, or send in a request using the contact form at ellieandjames.com.

March 3 - 8: Moo La La Children's Consignment Boutique in Redlands, CA

   - I will be displaying some of my new and best-selling designs with Layered C.A.K.E. Boutique.  Check out her boutique items and learn a few new styling tips (www.layeredbycake.com)

April 10 - 11: QUEEN BEE Market in Oceanside, CA

    - If you have ever been to queen bee then you know how amazing this handmade market is!  Over 70 handmade shops from SoCal getting together to offer you awesomeness.  This is a HUGE event and worth the $3 entry fee (queenbeemarket.com)

April 19: Little Brown Bag in Redlands, CA

    - A local handmade event that I am so excited to be joining right here in my old stomping grounds. A native of Redlands I am glad to finally be back in the area to raise my family, especially so close to my babies' grandparents!  Little Brown Bag is run by local handmade shop owners who saw a need for local shops to have a market to display their unique crafts with shoppers in the area.  It takes online Etsy type shops and puts them face-to-face with local shoppers.

Second Jane.com Deal

I intended on informing you all of our second Jane deal sometime today as it runs through Saturday; HOWEVER, I am blown away at the fact that we already SOLD OUT!  The deal was live for less than 24 hours, which is HUGE!  Thank you all so much for your support. I WILL get another deal going for you soon.

Our first Jane.com deal starts at midnight tonight!  I have shopped Jane for a while now... was introduced to it through my lifelong friend and fashion blogger, WildOneForever.  <--Isn't she the cutest?

Things Just Got a Heck of a Lot CUTER

First of all, the intention of this blog is to update you on what we are doing over here at Ellie and James on a day-to-day basis.  Well, we won't post everyday, but we are giving you behind the scenes access as well as updating you on where we will be, when we will be there, where you can find the best deals on our products, and when new products are available! Stay tuned .... (WARNING: I say that A LOT)

So why am I "updating" today?  Things just got a heck of a lot cuter over here with our new packaging and I had to share with you all.  As much as I loved our old packaging, it took a really long time to tie each individual bow.  Plus, I wanted you to have something to KEEP your necklace in at night and to protect it if you are traveling.  The pillow boxes were cute, but this new packaging is just more fun!

Ok, first a shoutout to Hoot Owl Press because I absolutely LOVE the stamp she made me. :)

I probably should have taken a picture BEFORE I used it, but I was too excited!

And I should give a shoutout to the eBay guy for not only getting 500 pink bubble mailers to me quickly but also for making me laugh hysterically when I opened the box to this:

I just didn't expect it to be 500 mailers stacked top to bottom in a box!

My hubby is really excited about storing this one ;)

Last thing... this is me working on my first deal for Jane.com. Details coming later on that, but I wanted to point out my FAVORITE thing in my shop (***my shop is the front room in our house. Who needs a formal living room?***). I LOVE my chain hanger. It would be great for storing necklaces on and such, but this is where I keep all of the chain I use for my necklaces.  I met the owner of Betsy's Closet Finds at Crafty & Chic back in October and saw this on her table. She does a lot of cool things!
